Third-Party Games

Though initially Unseen will only feature in-house developed video games, there are plans for expansion. After a strategically set date, Unseen will start integrating third-party developed games into its launcher. However, it is a privilege reserved to real game developers, as games will have to pass a robust quality control phase before being published to minimize low-quality games that are uninteresting or simply made as cash grabs.

The value proposed by this practice is longevity for the platform, an increased source of entertainment for the users, and exposure to promising game developers that wish to embrace our revenue sharing model and the values of our platform.

For a game to be integrated within the Unseen, our native characters are a mandatory requirement while other assets will be left to the developers’ discretion. This is done to safeguard and promote the value of Unseen’s avatars, and it speeds up the development process as developers do not need to worry about character and blockchain integration. By providing the blockchain backend developers only need to worry about their own logic and creating a fun experience to be shared with our vibrant community.

Finally, our characters are currently only compatible with Unreal Engine, but the inclusion of other engines is imminent.

Developers who create successful video games that stand out will be eligible for additional rewards outlined in the “Tokenomics” section of this document. There will be a leaderboard specifically designed for game developers to gauge their success and reward them accordingly.
